Sunday 4/5/25 Called into with 2 colleagues.. food was presented well and tasted even better.. good coffee.. All the waitresses were very friendly, chatty and swift at taking our orders.. From order to been placed in front of us was very quick.. Definitely will return when back that way on... If you haven't tried it, do so.. you won't be disappointed...

18 hungry cyclists heading to Holland via the ferry was not too much trouble for Nige & the team at Urban 44. The food was superb, with riders ordering a range of dishes from the menu. Everyone was impressed with their food, side orders & the coffee was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and whether it is a coffee, light lunch or something more filling, we all agreed that we would back individually and as a group again. 10/10

Absolutely beautiful place to go for rather coffee and delicious slice of cake or a really good breakfast or brunch. Such a wide menu of beautiful food and never fails to impress me. Always have relaxing music on complimented by beautiful decor. Very reasonable prices and worth every penny. I love popping in to see the girls and owners as they are so lovely, welcoming and always have a smile to greet you with. 100% one of my top places to go too.

Gorgeous breakfast and coffee. I had the special which was an absolutely delicious combination of lemon honey halloumi, smashed avocado on a poppy seed super soft bagel and a poached egg! Really nice place, definitely recommend!

Loved this place, not just for the great food but also the staff, As a bloke on his own for breakfast it can be a bit of a lonely gig but the staff here were keen to interact and friendly to share a joke and stories and made it a really nice morning. Staff are the heartbeat of a business and this one is super strong. Looking forward to my takeaway cake later and I will definitely be popping back again. Great team

I found Urban 44 while taking a walk from the nearby car dealerships where I was waiting for my service to be completed. Really pleased I decided to pop in. The coffee was fantastic, in fact so good I couldn’t resist ordering a second drink. The homemade warm fruit scone was also also delicious and great accompaniment to the coffee. The owner was extremely was very welcoming, and the service and atmosphere very good. Really pleased I found this place, I’ll definitely be popping back in the next time I’m nearby.

A great find. Nice to be in an independent family run cafe. Great choices on the menu but the Forest Dweller was out of this world. They also changed the sausage in their breakfast bagel stack to halloumi to make it vegetarian. Lovely staff. Kind and attentive

Randomly walked past after dropping my car for it's MOT, so thought I would give it a go to kill some time. Got speaking to who I assume is the owner about life and football, very pleasant and nice chap. The rest of the staff were great, coffee was lovely. I'll be popping back in at some point in the future.
